Function Overview
Whirlpool is looking for talented and enthusiastic candidates to join our Digital Center of Excellence. Marketing & Analysis skills, and the ability to think strategically, are critical to this role. We are looking for experienced Data Management Platform (DMP) media planners who are comfortable working across multiple channels and tactics while maintaining a laser-like focus on setting and achieving measurable results through carefully defined KPIs while still possessing a detailed and analytic mindset to provide unique and compelling insights to clients and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Skilled in interpreting business measurement/reporting needs. Coordinate multiple stakeholder requests and project activities at any one time to ensure accurate, timely and efficient reporting and analysis deliverables.
  • Lead the strategic planning of display & paid social channel with a focus on audience curation and management; shape learning agenda and test new initiatives to deliver profitable new accounts
  • Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to develop effective and actionable personas leveraging 1st and 3rd party data
  • Provide guidance and instructions to ad ops and technology teams on test setup, audience syndication, asset trafficking and tag management to ensure measurability
  • Summarize learnings from tests; share results with management and peers to drive continuous improvement of digital channel performance
  • Evaluate opportunities proposed by new and existing vendors in the martech/adtech industry, including audience management & syndication, targeting and campaign automation capabilities
  • Work with legal and compliance on martech/adtech vendor contracts
  • Monitor best digital practices within the financial services industry; synthesize insights to inform channel strategies and circulate for broader knowledge sharing where appropriate
  • Educate the broader organization to improve enterprise digital literacy
  • Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 2+ years experience working with Data Management Platform (DMP) preferably Adobe Audience Manager
  • 2+ years experience in digital audience management and syndication with Demand Side Platform (DSP), Email Channel, Google, Facebook and other social platforms


Preferred Requirements
  • Ability to navigate technology platforms in digital media
  • High detail and coordination skills required; able to accurately exchange/ track with high volumes of data and manage timely status updates with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • DCM (DoubleClick Campaign Management) campaign management and reporting knowledge
  • Working knowledge of tag management systems
  • Agency account management or media planning experience
  • Strong analytical skills, including A/B test set-up, result interpretation, Web Analytics and general knowledge of machine learning algorithms used in programmatic display
  • PMP certified or strong project management skills
  • Experience working in digital advertising or a related field
  • Solid understanding of online marketing
  • Strong understanding of HTML and web protocols
  • Intermediate-to-advanced JavaScript skills
  • Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices
  • Previous experience working with Adobe Audience Manager or similar DMP tools
  • Website optimization experience
  • Web development experience
  • Extensive Flash, ActionScript, or Flex experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self starter, entrepreneurial and able to work with limited direction
  • Strong relationship building skills - builds credibility with all stakeholders as reliable, accurate, and resourceful conduit to ensure accurate and timely execution of information
  • Ability and desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and willingness to be flexible and shift priorities as needed
  • Strong attention to detail, and active listening skills
