This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is onsite at our Tulsa, OK location.
The Maintenance Analyst is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the maintenance team within a large manufacturing plant that includes assembly lines and stamping presses. This position leads a team of approximately 60 hourly maintenance team members and plays a critical role in driving the plant's efficiency, reliability, and safety. This role will plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring that the team is effectively deployed to meet plant needs.
The Maintenance Analyst will analyze maintenance data, develop strategies to improve equipment uptime, and ensure that maintenance activities align with the plant's overall production goals.
This is a 1st Shift work schedule.

Your responsibilities will include
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Maintenance Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
- Utilize WCM manufacturing principles / TPM / Lean etc to streamline maintenance operations and reduce waste.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve maintenance performance.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, plant policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead incident investigations related to maintenance activities, identifying corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Optimize the use of resources to meet maintenance and production goals within budget constraints.
- Oversee the procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis, cost tracking, and equipment reliability metrics.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment such as assembly lines and stamping presses.
- 2+ years of leadership experience, managing large teams of maintenance personnel.
Preferred skills and experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in maintenance.
